very charming, querky decor. all rooms were spotless.
not very well sign posted from the outside but that is my only complaint. beautiful building and very nice and friendly staff.Translate this guest review
Easy access to the bus station, undergrounds and Las Ramblas and Catalunya Plaza...the room was theh largest I have been in, had air conditioning, a shower and sink and downt the hall were 2 bathrooms with showers - all clean...nicely decorated and there was a lift for those tired of stairs...was a suprising great value!Translate this guest review

Mature couple
charming fake period furnitures fit charmingly into the lovely old, high ceiling house,with a rather grand entrance and beautiful elevator. the room and shared bathroom where very clean and seemed newly refurbished. we loved our balcony into a quiet backyard thus extending the small bedroom with the tiny shower (but the shared bathroom was generously big). we felt totally undisturbed by the other guests and staff whom we neither saw. the doors could have been more soundproof but due to the other considerate guests it was a quiet stay. everything worked as agreed. certainly to be recommended, there are nice cafés in front of the hostal, quiet road, tube 4 minutes away, one stop to square Catalunja. we loved it and its affordable.
