People watch in one of the lively plazas such as Plaza Reial or Plaza del Pi. Also walking distance is the lovely port with all the beautiful yachts which is on the way to the Barceloneta beach.  Work on that tan on the Mediterranean, and passively shop from the vendors who wander the beaches with their wares. Take some refreshment as you escape the sun at one of the many chiringuitos (bars located right on the beach) up and down the Barceloneta. Or if it’s your style, let it all loose at the nudist beach at the farthest end of the Barceloneta. Head back up through Barceloneta to the Born area with the Picasso Museum and its charming medieval winding streets. Full of shops and boutiques, you’ll find clothes from the next big designer, maybe even the next Custo.
