  About Mare Nostrum

Just two steps away from the famous Liceu Opera house and Las Ramblas in the very historic centre of Barcelona, the basic, comfortable, 2-star Mare Nostrum Hostel. From here you can visit loads of great museums including the Picasso Museum, CCCB contemporary culture centre, MACBA modern art museum, Miró Museum, Aquarium, Zoo, and the Maritime Museum housed in a XII century shipyard. The Old Port with Christopher Columbus statue pointing out over the sea is at the end of Las Ramblas. Just beyond is the Barceloneta with its sunny Mediterranean beaches and fabulous seafood restaurants such as El Rey de la Gamba. For great shopping C/Portaferrissa off Las Ramblas is a great place for big names. Small boutiques with local designers creations can be found in the Raval area and el Born. The Mare Nostrum Hostel is good value for money. It is clean and very well isolated. One little minor detail. Because of the excellent isolation our room got a little stuffy and opening a winodw is not an option (too much noise).

Prorio nel cuore della città, pulito, ad un passo dalla metro. Colazione abbondante e personale disponibile. Consigliato se prendi camera con bagno privato. Diversamente non posso giudicare

punti di forza: centralissima posizione, grande cortesia del personale, pulizia dell'ambiente. punti di debolezza: non viene controllato il comportamento di alcuni clienti ( in particolare quelli giovinastri o quelli che hanno bevuto) che a notte fonda fanno un grande chiasso e schiamazzano non poco senza considerare le esigenze dei clienti che riposano. Insomma la Direzione dovrebbe intervenire e avvertire quando questi rientrano dai bagordi notturni di non disturbare.

accueil agréable; idéalement placé; très correct; attention toutefois au règlement de la facture: bug informatique ou tentative d'arnaque? tout a fini par rentrer dans l'ordre
