The Vallcarca Rooms, with its sunny 20m2 terrace, are located next to the leafy tranquillity of Gaudi's Park Guell. The rooms are actually 4 independent rooms shared among guets in a private apartment. This is a great home base from which to explore Gaudi’s beautiful Parc Guell and other modernisme structures. This period of architecture is characterised by natural themes, most notable in the park’s colonnaded walkway and beautiful mosaics. This city has some spectacular views from the park, and also from Tibidabo. Here you can sip a drink at the famous Mira Blau as you gaze over a breath-taking view of the city. Just down the street you can have a meal in a spectacular modernisme setting at the Asador de Aranda, but be warned that it’s not exactly vegetarian. Also up in Tibidabo are fantastic clubs like Danzatoria, a five storey mansion with several dance floors for all music tastes.
