The Magic House is a hostel offering 1 star accommodation in Carrer Avinyó, probably the most popular street in Barcelona’s gothic neighbourhood, where you will find the city’s trendiest designer clothes shops. Calle Avinyo is a medieval street which is home to the art school where Picasso studied and where he painted his famous cubist piece, "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon". The gothic neighbourhood is full of things to see and do: historical buildings, bars, restaurants, shops…and it is just a five minute walk from the sea. The rooms are spacious and decorated with typical Catalan mosaics as well as objects from the five continents which the owners have brought back from their travels. All of the rooms are doubles but may be used as singles. Some of the rooms have king-size beds while others have singles. In the 30m2 suite you will find a king-size bed as well as a private terrace. the hostel is very good situated, the room was clean, there was hot water, the brekfast was delicious and Mauro /the room-keeper/ was very frandly and helpfull. |

Super Unterkunft an bester Lage in mitten Barri Cotic. Schöne grosse Zimmer, toll eingerichtet mit funktionierender Heizung! Tolles Frühstück im Zimmer. Nur die Toilette würde ich in separatem, geschlossenen Raum bevorzugen. |
