Check out the Penultimo bar on C/Hospital for great music and a mishmash of furniture. Kenobi bar has a similar feel, but with a dangerously tempting and lengthy cocktail list. Raval is famous for its hard to find bars, La Concha, Bar Manolo and the Ateneu are all near Nou de la Rambla. By the way, the hostel is also close to the beach, the Gothic Quarter, Picasso Museum, MACBA contemporary art museum and CCCB.
All rooms have flat screen TV with international channels and safety deposit on request. Free Internet access in lobby.
