The Pensión Norma is a 1 star lodging in the centre of the Gracia neighbourhood, a classic and picturesque area of Barcelona. The hotel is located on the main street of this neighbourhood which was once its own township before being enveloped by the city. Today there are plenty of charming restaurants, cosy bars, little boutiques and all manner of services like supermarkets, farmers markets, post office and pharmacies. Pension adéquate pour un court séjour, avec prix avantageux et situation excellente (à 2 pas du métro Gracia, un quartier sympathique. Malheureusement, l'isolation sonore est mauvaise, on entend tout ce qui se passe autour.

Le logement est très propre mais en ce mois de novembre un peu froid (le chauffage vient allumé que la nuit). Très bien placé (avec le métro on est très vite partout) il a le seul inconvenient de se trouver tout en haut d'un imeuble sans ascenseur (3/4 étages à pied). Le personnel est très gentil et serviable.

Abbiamo prenotato la stanza doppia con bagno privato. E' molto pulita, più di quel che ci aspettassimo, e si ha la possibilità di tornare a qualsiasi ora. Vicinissimo a Passeig de Gracia e quindi alla Pedrera e Casa Battlò, che possono essere comodamente raggiunte a piedi. La stazione di Catalunya è a due fermate da Fontana, linea verde L3. Unico problema, le scale: è un 4° piano senza ascensore, però ne vale la pena. Non abbiamo trovato tutto questo rumore che si diceva nei commenti precedenti, è una zona piuttosto tranquilla. Prezzi bassi non sempre vogliono dire fregature per fortuna.

The location is excellent. However the first room we were given was a big disappointment. It was a taste of a different way of life. The flights of stairs would be unsuitable for some travellers.

Nous sommes satisfaits de manière générale. Très bon accueil ... Propre ... Cependant, notre chambre possédait une fenêtre mais qui donnait sur d'autres murs. C'est très supportable pour un court séjour avec beaucoup de sorties. Il faut savoir aussi que les chambres se trouvent au 3 eme étage.
