  About Hostal Centro
A central, 15-room hostel located in the heart of Barcelona's modernist route, a couple of minutes walk to two of Gaudi's most exhilarating masterpieces - La Pedrera and Casa Batlló in Passeig de Gracia. The hostel is located just above the fray of Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas but close enough to be able to get there on foot. It has the charm of those old fashioned establishment with ornate high ceilings, mosaic floors and parquet floors and kitsch 70's style furnishing. Some of the rooms have charming enclosed terraces. It's very well connected with the rest of the city by bus or metro (Passeig de Gracia, L3).Note: On the day of arrival, the establishment will charge the given credit card for the first night; the rest must be paid for when checking in at the hostel.

Vue de la chambre sur un mur. Chambre glauque mais propre. Logement assez proche du centre ville et de la place catalunya. L'équipe de l'hôtel bruyant surtout tôt le matin. Bar au rdc de l'immeuble=>bruit de musique.

The beds were like sleeping on the bare springs. The room and bathroom were clean but the balcony wasn't. The staff was lovely. It was central. Quite expensive for what it is.

The location was good and the room was quite spacious. However, the service was lousy and the employees were rude and unfriendly.

If you are within a given and reasonable budget, the hostel ideal for stop-sleep-go traveller. It is very comfortable and cozy.
