A centrally located hostel in the very Plaça Reial, one of the most charming squares of Barcelona . In the heart of the historical centre, a few steeps away from La Rambla, the Port Vell, the Maremagnum commercial and leisure area, and the Barceloneta beaches. A square surrounded by many cafés, bars, restaurants and clubs with the liveliest atmosphere of the city. You will be able to get to the main museums and monuments, such as Picasso museum or the magnificent cathedral, while you have a nice walk, with no need of public transport. ...more details > Drassanes and Liceu metro stations (line 3), as well as several bus lines, are a few meters away from the hostel, so you will easily arrive anywhere in the city. The hostel offers basic, functional, modestly furnished rooms. They have a small bathroom with a shower, heating and parquet wood floors, adding a warm touch to the ambience. VERY IMPORTANT: It is only possible to check in at this establishment between 13:00 and 22:00 (local time). L'hôtel est très bien situé dans la ville. Il est dans un quartier animé et en subit donc les conséquences. (bruits jusqu'à tard surtout le weekend). Nous ça a été à peu près car nous y étions en novembre, mais en plein été avec les fenêtres ouvertes cela semble difficile d'avoir une nuit de sommeil complète. Sinon, sa position centrale permet de visiter le centre ville sans avoir à trop se déplacer et le quartier est très sympathique. |

It was rather noicy from the street. With ear-plugs it was okey. So remember bringing your ear-plugs. |

Für den Preis völlig okay! Vorteile: Absolut zentrale Lage zwischen Ramblas + Placa Reial; nette Mitarbeiter; Zimmer relativ geräumig (für diese Preiskategorie); Badezimmer 'funktionstüchtig' (immer warmes Duschwasser + einwandfreie Toilette); super Ausblick auf Ramblas oder Placa (kein Hinterhof wie bei manch anderer Pension); Metro-Nähe (Station Liceu).
Nachteile: 4.Etage in einem engen Treppenhaus ohne Fahrstuhl (im Treppenhaus an der Wand steht 2.Etage...); Rezeption nicht rund um die Uhr besetzt (mittags bis spät abends); Sauberkeit bei Anreise gut, dann wurde jedoch 6 Tage lang jeweils ausschließlich (!) der Papierkorb geleert - Ausnahme war eine tote Kakerlake, die im Raum lag und immerhin nach 2 Tagen entfernt wurde...; großer Lärm von den Ramblas (Verkehr, Leute rund um die Uhr)/Placa(Leute, Baustelle direkt nebenan)- nichts für lärmempfindliche Personen!; Dusche supereng; kleines Waschbecken nur mit kaltem Wasser; keine Möglichkeit, Wertsachen in der Unterkunft zu lassen. |
