Take a day trip to Sitges, a gem of a city just South of Barcelona which has long stretches of beach and a lovely maritime walkway to stroll down at sunset. Closer to the hostel are several intriguing Gaudi structures including La Pedrera (also known as Casa Mila), Casa Batlló (which was nicknamed the bone house because of the shape of the columns in front of the first floor windows) and finally Gaudi’s masterpiece, Sagrada Familia Cathedral is not far away. The hostel has been completely renovated and is located in a residence built at the turn of the century. The staff at the Que Tal reflect the friendly name of the hostel, and will make you feel right at home. The rooms are unique, decorated with their own particular style, and are painted with ornamental details. They are spacious with high ceilings which are characteristics of this kind of building. There are rooms with or without en suite bathrooms, and the latter are brand new, clean and roomy. Rooms without private bath include a wash basin.
