The Hostal Satram is a clean 2-star hostel next to Gaudí's famous Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona. Located in the Sagrada Familia neighbourhood, you will wake up to this towering and unusual structure. Spectacular example of Modernisme, a movement in architecture which is best understood as the Catalan version of Art Nouveau because of its use of natural themes. You’ll reach Plaça de Catalunya and beyond that, the Gothic Quarter which is rich in history. Close to the hostel is the Restaurant Les Cues de Piazzenza on corner of Avinguda de Antoni Gaudi and Lepant which has unbelievable pizza and even better “sangria de cava”. Eat and drink on the outdoor terrace at night and gaze upon the light up North face of the Sagrada Familia. You’ll be guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep at the Hostel Satram, which is located in a quiet semi-residential area 2 blocks from Sagrada Familia and 2 minutes to the metro station (lines 2 and 5). The hostel offers nine rooms, two with complete private bathroom and seven with shower and sink in the room and shared toilet. Der Geschäftsführer war sehr nett und hilfreich und jederzeit bereit Auskünfte zu geben oder Sightseeing Tipps. Das Zimmer war etwas heruntergekommen, aber für die allgemeinen Standards in Barcelona und zu diesem Preis absolut ausreichend. |

La stanza disponeva di una finestrella troppo piccola che tra l'altro si affacciava in un piccolissimo e profondo cortile interno per cui dava poca luce e poca aria alla stanza (immagino che d'estate l'impressione fosse quella del soffocamento).
Rumorosità dovuta solamente agli scarichi acqua, gabinetti, doccie che con tubi esterni scendevano sempre sulle pareti del piccolo cortile.

El alojamiento era un poco precario pero cabe destacar la limpieza del lugar que era excelente. La atención fué buena. |

lieux très propre mais très rustique... sans luxe... cela nous a totalement suffit... nous sommes allée pour visiter et non rester dans la chambre... |
