  About the establishment

The young and hip gravitate to the area with the most underground nightclubs per square kilometre in Barcelona, namely the Raval, and the Hostal Gatraval is where they sleep. The Raval is packed with hot bars and cheap and good eats. Go out at night to Joaquin Costa Street to Bar Benidorm with its eclectic décor and great indie, electro and rock music. More of a Brit pop fan? Manchester Bar is right up the street. Ease into the next day, and head down to Barceloneta beach for a coffee at one of the many chiringuitos (bars on the beach) and start working on that tan. Once you’re ready for some culture and history, the apartment is close to the Gothic Quarter and Cathedral with its towering Gothic (or are they Romanesque? Someone forgot their art history lesson…) spires. Explore the winding medieval streets and find traces from the Roman wall which once surrounded the city. Ein Jugendhotel eben für junge Leute - gut war dass man sich in English unterhalten konnte

pas de mauvaise surprise, mais je considère cet endroit plus comme une auberge de jeunesse que comme un hôtel. Les photos ne reflètent pas trop la réalité. Une madeleine et un café soluble ne sont pas pour moi un petit déjeuner

Great value. Small, efficient, and super clean. The staff was helpful and were quick to start a conversation. After living in Barcelona for a year a few years back, I must say that the location is perfect. Not too close to La Rambla (where is uber touristy and overrated), but close enough to all the action. Great place. It comes highly recommended.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, ca. 5 Gehminuten zur berühmten Straße LaRambla. In der direkten Umgebung des Hostels finden sich kleine Shops zur Selbstversorgung, kleine Bars, ein Internetcafe und Bäckereien. Insgesamt überzeugt das Hostel durch ein sauberenes Auftreten, freundlichem Personal und der absolut zentralen Lage. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage und dem Altbau sind Nebengeräusche von der Straße unvermeidbar, was jedoch die Möglichkeit bietet, den Charme der Stadt und den Lifestyle Barcelonas sehr authentisch miterleben zu lassen. Ebenso ist die nahe Anbindung zu 2 Metrostationen - von dem eine direkt vom Flughafenbus angefahren wird - zur Stadterkundung von Vorteil. Ingesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hostel. Preis-Leistung = top

Camere pulite e ordinate,sistemazione ideale per chi cerca solo un'appoggio per dormire.Buona la posizione dal centro e dalla Rambla.Personale sempre presente io ci ritornerei.
