  About Barcelona Center-Kitchen
The brand new guesthouse Barcelona Center-Kitchen has 8 colourful rooms in the heart of the city centre, just around the corner to Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya the main square of Barcelona, Spain. It is within walking distance to many of Barcelona's places of interest such as the gothic Cathedral, the whimsical Palau de la Música, the city's concert hall and a World Heritage site, and Portal del Angel, the main shopping street in the centre. This area has some great restaurants including the famous Quatre Gats (4 cats) just around the corner. This charming restaurant with unusual pointed arches was a favourite of painter Picasso. They serve traditional high-end Catalan cuisine, sometimes combining seafood and meat in the same dish. There is also an excellent wine list. It café is located in a small plaza with remains of the Roman aqueduct just between Portal del Angel and the Plaza del Catedral. It’s a great place for a drink, a meal and a chat in the outdoor seating. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings and are equipped with a complete private bathroom a little kitchen, air conditioning and heating. Some of the rooms have a private sunny terrace (see specific comments in booking process). The décor is a colourful Mediterranean style and a cheerful atmosphere. Nice, clean and brand new guesthouse in the heart of the city.

Zentral und ruhig gelegen mit schöner Dachterrasse und sehr freundlicher Verwaltung. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Al principio pensabamos que era algo mas cutre sobre todo por la entrada que tiene pero despues nos sorprendimos mucho y muy gratamente. Todo genial y muy limpio aparte de muy bien situado.

in una viuzza ad un passo da Rambla, p.za Catalunya , palazzo della musica e città vecchia: più comodo di così non si può. La stanza era tranquillissima e comoda anche se la finestra dava su un cavedio, ma dato che ci si va solo a dormire la cosa non disturba più di tanto. Ha l'aria condizionata indipendente. A voler cercare il pelo nell'uovo, la pulizia di coperte, lenzuola, asciugamani e tappeto avrebbe potuto essere meglio. La padrona, italiana, è gentile anche se non sempre presente, comunque per qualsiasi necessità, si può telefonarle. L'androne del palazzo, il primo momento, lascia un pò perplessi, ma con il passare dei giorni non si nota più e ci si sente a casa. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che al lusso preferiscono la comodità unita al prezzo basso.
