Full marks for location. (some other areas need attention though). The location of the apartment was excellent and suited us perfectly as we were boarding a cruise ship in Barcelona. It was very easy to access many attractions and close to the "hop-on, hop-off" bus. We were a group of five Australians travelling Spain independently and the size of the apartment was excellent. We booked the apartment with the understanding that we would be on the first floor and we knew there was no lift. Eight flights of stairs is NOT our undertanding of the first floor and this should be clarified because it is a long way up to carry suitcases. The apartment could do with a really good clean, especially the bathrooms as there is mould in the shower alcoves. Toilet paper provided for tenants would be a good idea. We also ran out of hotwater very quickly until we discovered the hot water system in one bathroom was unplugged. Before doing our laundry we had to remove wet sheets and towels (still washing and drying) left in both the washing machine and dryer by the cleaners after the previous tenants this was not our responsibility and laundry should be done elsewhere when this property is rented out and there is a crossover of tenants. The ceiling fan in the kitchen needs fixing and has apparently been broken for a long time. We did not use the dishwasher because of the terrible smell coming from it and it needs a really good clean out.

Really nice accommodation. Very central. Plenty of Space. Good facilities. Clean. Would have liked to be able to check in before 4 but such a nice city wasnt a major issue

l'edificio non è recente, ma ubicato in ottima posizione, a due passi dal porto e servito da tutti i mezzi, metrò compreso. L'appartamento è confortevole con camere abbastanza grandi, i due bagni lo rendono indicato anche a due famiglie come eravamo noi. Peccato che nella terza camera da letto i materassi erano quasi da campeggio. Dopo aver subito un sonoro rimprovero sulla qualità della sistemazione, ho avuto la soddisfazione da parte delle signore, moglie compresa di aver trovato un'ottima sistemazione, pratica e confortevole.

peccato che ci fosse acqua calda solo in una doccia e solo per un massimo di tre doccie consecutive

+ noise level is acceptable (especially for the central location) + nice big rooms + fairly clean + kitchen well equipped - in the first bathroom you have to plug in the (hidden) hot water boiler instead of the cloth drier to have hot water. If the one before you forgets to do so you have to take a cold shower :(
