I was happy to find that all of the other positive comments I have read are true! Sonja is great and will provide anything needed, including a city map & explanation of what to see. FACILITIES: The rooms are a good size, with a nice balcony to look around below. Each room has a wardrobe with hangers and a drawer, a nightstand, & a fan. She provides the towels & sheets. The bathroom was nice & clean and had a hair dryer. It was never a problem to share the bathroom with the people in the one other room. In fact, it was nice to talk with them over breakfast and share stories & travel tips. You could eat breakfast whenever you want, and consisted of all the basics. The B&B is on the 4th floor, and they are in the process of building an elevator, which she said should be done in the next couple months. The street below is a bit noisy at night, as others have commented, but we put in earplugs and it was fine. We are a young couple w/o kids, & it was great for us. I would recommend this place for anyone, but would be very difficult with children until the elevator is installed. LOCATION: Before this trip, I did not know anything about which area would be best to stay in BCN. But after our weeks stay there, I believe that the location of this B&B could not be any better. It is close to a beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella (which has an amazing fountain), La Rambla, the beach, and right in the center of the Gothic area, which in itself feels like the heart and soul of BCN. It is extremely close to the metro stop Jaume, which helps with quick access to the Gaudi houses, Sagrada Familia, & Parc Guell (the Gaudi park). TRAVEL NOTE: from the airport we took the train to Passeig de Gracia, we switched trains (on the same platform) and took another train one stop to Estacio de Franca. From there it is a short 5-10 minute walk. This is one place you can book with confidence that what you see online is what you will get when you arrive. If we ever go back to BCN, we will not hesitate for one second to stay at this B&B again. Tradurre questo commento del cliente

si l'emplacement est excellent, par contre il y a beaucoup de bruit durant la nuit à l'intérieur. Sonia dispose le petit-déjeuner entre minuit et deux heures du matin et cela nous réveille. Aussi, 4 étages à gravir avec les valises, ce n'est pas agréable. Nous conséllerions ce bed & breakfast à des jeunes qui dorment le jour et font la fête la nuit. Tradurre questo commento del cliente

Excellent location and helpful owner. There are no lifts so this is not suitable for people with mobility problems as it's several floors up. Tradurre questo commento del cliente

idéal pour profiter de Barcelone à pied. Au coeur des rues animées mais pas ou peu de voitures dans cette rue et chambre bien isolée du bruit. A conseiller ! Tradurre questo commento del cliente
