A refreshment break

Barcelona
is at its most popular in summer when the city overflows with foreign tourists from all over the world. This is also the hottest and driest time of year with temperatures as high as 35ºC and an average temperature of 29ºC. Fortunately the city centre is brimming with bars and shady patios where you can quench your thirst and recharge your batteries before continuing your sightseeing tour of the city. The beach is always nearby too if you want to swim in the sea, although you will have to travel a little further along the coast if you don’t fancy rubbing shoulders with all the other tourists.
