Bar with hams

Ham is popular in
Catalonia and you can see it hanging up behind most bars to be put in a sandwich or served on its own as Tapas. The most popular ham in Spain however come from
Andalusia and is made in the traditional way, cured and dried by the heat and wind, giving it that dryness which distinguishes it from other European hams. Famous Spanish hams include: Jamon Serrano, Pata Negra, Paletilla and Jamon Iberico de Bellota, which is the most exclusive ham and comes from acorn and herb fed pigs.
