Sarria-Sant Gervasi is one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in Barcelona. It’s surrounded by the districts of Les Corts, Gracia, Eixample and Horta-Guinardó and is located in the north-west of the city. Many years ago (mid 19th century) Sarriá-Sant Gervasi used to be an exclusive rural area for the Catalan upper-middle class. Sarriá-Sant Gervasi has elegant houses and buildings, charming squares and traditional stores. There is also a railway station (FGC - Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) called Sarria that gets to the city centre only in few minutes. In this smart neighbourhood of Barcelona you can find Collserola Mountain (a part of it actually belongs to Sarria-Sant Gervasi), where you can visit the famous Tibidabo Mountain and its unique funfair.
